Strong Woman vs. Woman of Strength

A strong woman works out every day to keep her body in shape …

but a woman of strength kneels in prayer to keep her soul in shape…

A strong woman isn’t afraid of anything …

but a woman of strength shows courage in the midst of her fear…

A strong woman won’t let anyone get the best of her …

but a woman of strength gives the best of her to everyone…

A strong woman makes mistakes and avoids the same in the future…

a woman of strength realizes life’s mistakes can also be God’s blessings and

capitalizes on them…

A strong woman walks sure foetidly …

but a woman of strength knows God will catch her when she falls…

A strong woman wears the look of confidence on her face …

but a woman of strength wears grace…

A strong woman has faith that she is strong enough for the journey …

but a woman of strength has faith that it is in the journey that she will become strong…

a strong woman is one who gets her heart broken time and time again

and still has the strength to gather the pieces to create a new life for herself.

Remember that no matter what pain you’ve been through, tears will dry, broken hearts

will heal, and somewhere out there the person who truly cares is waiting.

You’re a woman and you are strong.

Hello everyone! It took me so long to update this blog since i got busy with.... nothing este everything. So now that i'm here i would like to share with you the latest me and my kids have gone to. This was taken just recently during the halloween event at Robinsons place Manila. Actually we really don't have any plans for halloween this year but since we're at Robinson mall a day before halloween day itself, i've decided to have my kids join this once-a-year-event which i don't want them to miss.

Last minute shopping for my kid's halloween costume. Pirate costume for my eldest son and Little mermaid costume for my daughter. Such a good find at toys r 'us with 70% off from its original price. We also got a free lootbag stub for the halloween items bought at their store with at least 300php priced items.

Teary-eyed

When a girl is silent, that's pretty dangerous.

She's either overthinking, tired of waiting, about to blow,

lonely, needs a hug, falling apart or crying inside. and

most probably all of those above

Random Survey about Me

It's been a while folks! Unfortunately i don't have any good things to post for today. I don't really feel good. Hubby and I weren't talking to each other (yeah still in ldr). Perhaps to cool things up. I'm not sure how long will it take to fix things up. I don't really know..

Right now I'm feeling... so frustrated.

When I'm alone I feel... like singing.

When I'm surrounded by people I feel...like a celebrity. Where there's this fans who loves you and some who don't.

One thing I hate is... no common sense. Duh!

One thing I really like about myself is ... being not afraid to say what i truly feel.

When I'm feeling sad I...blog and write about the things that makes me sad.

When I daydream it's usually about...the good things i wish i have done.

I'm afraid of... no one and nothing..

I'm happiest when.. i'm with my kids.

One thing that really worries me is ... uncertainty.

If I could change one thing about myself it would be...lots and lots of patience.

If I could be with anyone right now I would be with... God.

The family member I am closest to is...my cousins.

One thing I regret about my life is ... being a loser.

If I only had one more day to live I would...  go to Rome and ask the Pope to bless me.

One thing about me that nobody knows is...very short-tempered.

I hope that someday in the future... everything will all be better and perfect.

When I think about my family I feel... complete.

Something I'm really embarrassed about is... being not good at anything.

One thing about me I never want to change is...being hopeful.

One thing I feel really proud of is...by trying to be a good mom.

One thing I like about blogsville is... having to write what i feel like there is no one reading it.

Whatever hatred saves the number.

Klyne is Sick

Hello there! It's been a while. I've been sick last week. Thank God im all better now. But sadly, my eldest son, Klyne is the one who's sick now. He got a high fever. I just pray that he'll be well soonest. They'll be celebrating 'Linggo ng Wika' in school this coming Saturday and their class have prepared a dance number for that event. He's even excited for "Linggo ng Wika". REally hoping he'll get better fast.

Happy Weekend everyone!

How to deal with a Picky Eater

My eldest son, who is 5 is very much a picky eater and has been my biggest worry ever since. He and her little sister is very much opposite when it comes to foods.I can't get him to eat what has been cooked. Sometimes he would request for some food that he likes but ended up not finishing what he ate. Just imagine, our every meal time is always noisy and chaotic.

Here' s some tips i have found out on the internet:

- Slowly incorporate new foods alongside the dishes he does enjoy. Make foods more child-friendly by cutting them into smaller pieces or using cookie cutters to form them into shapes like dinosaurs. Serve food in small portions, since this will be less overwhelming to children.

- Children may be more willing to eat food if they've prepared it to their own liking, and helping out in the kitchen also teaches children about kitchen safety, following recipes and participating in house work. Get them involved. Make preparing meals seem fun to your child by buying her an apron and her own set of measuring cups. Let her help choose recipes and shop for groceries along with measuring and mixing ingredients.

- If your child still refuses to eat, a visit to the pediatrician may be in order. A doctor's visit is necessary if your child is losing weight, has stopped growing or if her lack of nutrition is causing her to become listless, confused or irritable. The pediatrician may be able to diagnose a physical problem that's keeping your child from eating or be able to recommend other methods that will encourage her to eat.

I am hopeful that when we move- in, his poor eating behavior will be changed. I will try my very best to cook food for my family's liking. One of these days, i'm gonna be a Chef Mom. Sound good right and exciting.
